Saltwater (Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc), is the author's line of wines that bears an accentuated stamp of its enologist, conceptualised to please younger consumers removed from the traditional types of wines. The name itself originates from an underground lake located beneath Erdut, a village in the Danube region, whose name can be translated as “salt water“. In terms of approach, the wines are more reminiscent of the New World wines than the classical European wines. The wines are very rich with flavour, Cabernet is especially fruity (with a distinct aroma of berry fruits) while the Sauvignon has an extremely herbal character. The accentuated mineral note and richness of aromas are the fundamental characteristics of wines from the Saltwater Series.
