Wine growers on the Pelješac Peninsula have a saying that goes something like this: You should praise each vine, but now it should be Plavac Mali. This saying reverberated in the Klasiček’s ears. Every so often, its echo provoked his creative nerve. Once the sound and the echo overlapped, a wine was created! Speaking in general, taking into consideration the approach to vinification that we nurture, this Plavac is fruity and almost has no tannins thereby completely contrasting the classical Dalmatian Plavac with conspicuous alcohols and rough tannins. The wine is from the Island of Brač and it represents our little Danube region 'overseas' acquisition as we follow suit of large and world renowned European wineries that produce wines in Chile, Argentina etc. under their brands.
