Reserva

Merlot Reserva 2022
A refined and expressive blend from the Croatian Danube Region, made from a selection of the finest berries. Dominated by Merlot (90%), this wine is complemented by 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The addition of Cabernet Sauvignon enhances the structure, provides firmer tannins for greater aging potential, and adds complexity through its characteristic depth and backbone.
Aged for 12 months in a mix of new and seasoned Slavonian oak barrels, the wine has developed a harmonious balance between fruit, oak, and evolving tertiary notes. The tannins have softened beautifully, allowing layers of richness and texture to emerge.
The medium garnet color hints at its maturity, while the nose reveals pronounced aromas of stewed fruits, alongside cranberry, raspberry, blueberry, and cooked red plum. The influence of Slavonian oak imparts caramel, vanilla, and delicate smoky nuances, seamlessly blending with the wine’s emerging earthy and forest floor aromas. Silky tannins and a well-structured palate lead to a long, elegant finish. Decant before serving.

Reserva
The Reserva Line is our most premium collection yet. The word “Reserva” originates from the Latin verb reservare, meaning “to keep, preserve, or set aside.” True to its name, this line is made from a selection of berries, with each wine undergoing at least 12 months in new Slavonian oak, followed by a period of lees aging, enhancing structure and complexity. By the time of release, these wines already display early tertiary aromas, seamlessly blending with their vibrant primary fruit and layered secondary notes. However, their journey is far from over - with proper cellaring, they will continue to evolve, gaining even more nuance and depth over time. “Reserve it for the moments that matter.”
