No other wine in the world has such a contradictory character in the wine lovers’ world as Pinot Noir, so the opponents do not consider them to be real red wines. However, this wine does not even address the opponents and those who just entered the world of wines and are now just spelling the alphabet of varieties. On the contrary, the character of the variety itself, including this Pinot Noir is intended for the true connoisseurs and expert drinkers. The Pinot Noir wine is a dry aged wine with impeccable balance and structure, and with a long velvety finish. Rich aromas of berries (blackberry, black currant), partially produced with carbon maceration have perfectly blended in with the recognizable earthy “feel“ of the background variety.
Technological data: vintage of fully technologically ripe grapes, traditional style of vinification, 20% of ripe stems added for a period of 14 days. Aged in 500 l barrels made of Slavonian and American oak. Bottle aged for a period of 4 months.
Dark amber-terracotta colour in the meniscus, nearly garnet, with accentuated viscosity; appears as though it has been aged.
Primary aroma is pomegranate, white tea, lavender followed by the dominance of red fruits, that is, red plums and a mild note of wild strawberry; tertiary aroma: skin, sweet root and moss.
Medium intensity on the palate and flavour concentration; dry, light body of exceptional elegance, harmony of the layered flavours and silky texture, and long-lasting aftertaste.
